Terms of service

These terms govern your use of House Money (the site, Neon Downs and the House Cup). By creating an account or playing as a guest you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

1. Who can play

  • You must be 18 or over and located somewhere it is lawful to take part in a free game of skill with prizes.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and can’t be shared, sold or transferred.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close an account at any time for breach of these terms, fraud, or where the law requires.

2. Chips are not money

  • “Chips” are play credits with no monetary value. They can’t be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged or cashed out, and they expire when the cup day ends.
  • Every player receives the same free Drop each day. Nothing you can pay for changes your chips, your odds, your eligibility or your chances.
  • Prices shown on games are for play only. Nothing on the service is a wager, and we do not accept or hold money from players.

3. The House Cup and prizes

  • The House Cup is a free trade promotion decided by skill under the Official Rules, which form part of these terms. There are no random draws in the prize path.
  • Prizes are a fixed number of $HOUSEMONEY tokens, paid from the published prize wallet to the wallet you sign in with. The number of tokens is fixed when the prize is posted; what they are worth at any time is set by the market and is not guaranteed by us. No cash alternative is offered.
  • To receive a prize you must verify a phone number and, for larger prizes, your identity. Prizes are not transferable and lapse 28 days after notification if unclaimed.
  • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families may play but can’t win prizes.

4. Neon Downs

  • Neon Downs is virtual racing for entertainment using chips. Race results are generated from a committed random seed you can verify. Racing never affects prizes.

5. Fair play

  • You must not use multiple accounts, bots, scripts, or collude with others; exploit bugs or pricing errors; harass other players; or attempt to interfere with the service.
  • We may void slips, remove points, cancel prizes or close accounts where we reasonably believe these rules were broken, and correct results where a game or price was recorded in error.

6. $HOUSEMONEY token

  • $HOUSEMONEY is a utility token for prizes and perks. It is not a financial product, deposit, investment or security, and we make no promise about its value, liquidity or future. We don’t sell it and don’t operate an exchange.
  • You are responsible for your wallet and its keys. Tokens sent to the wallet you linked are your responsibility from the moment the transaction confirms.
  • You’re responsible for any tax on prizes you receive. We record the value of each payout to help you.

7. Content and IP

  • The service, its designs, race engine, names and artwork are ours or our licensors’. You may share cards and clips we generate for you, unmodified, with credit intact.
  • Your username and results may be published on leaderboards, cards and marketing about the competition.

8. Availability and liability

  • The service is provided as-is. Feeds, prices and results come from third parties and may be delayed, wrong or unavailable; we correct what we can under the Official Rules.
  • To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law guarantees that can’t be excluded), we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to re-supplying the service.

9. Changes, termination and law

  • We may change the service and these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site; the judging criteria version is stamped on every cup so past results are never re-judged.
  • You can close your account at any time from your account page. Closing it forfeits unclaimed chips and points, not prizes already won.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes go to the courts of Victoria.
